Meghan Kelley, First Year Trainee

Meghan Kelley began dancing like most little girls, after seeing a performance of the nutcracker. But pretty soon it was clear that it was more than just an after school activity for her, and she discovered her passion for dance. She trained at Orlando Ballet school here in Florida, and graduated in 2019 after completing the highest level of the ABT curriculum. Following her graduation she spent two years as a trainee with Richmond Ballet in Virginia.

 

This past year, Meghan danced as an apprentice with a touring ballet company in Italy, Etoile Ballet Theatre. Upon returning to America, she happily accepted the offer to dance here at United Ballet Theatre, and is very excited to begin her first season with us! Some of her favorite roles she performed have been in Balanchine's Serenade, Golden Vine Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, and Swan Corps in Swan Lake.

 

Her Dream roles include: Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, First Variation from Emeralds,and Manon from the ballet of the same name.
