Sarah Murphy, First Year Trainee

Sarah is from Orlando, Florida.

​

She trained under the direction of Marion Tonner and Phillip Carmen and attended summer intensives at Orlando Ballet School, Oregon Ballet Theatre, and the Joffrey Ballet School in New York.

 

Sarah is a former student of United Ballet Theatre Academy. While still in the academy, Sarah performed in company pieces such as 'Spanish' from Swan Lake, flowers in the Nutcracker, and the Mazurka from Etudes.

 

Favorite roles would include Jewels and Carabosse from Sleeping Beauty, the first variation from Paquita, Minkus pas de trois, and pas de esclave.
