Kyla Patton, Second Year Trainee

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Kyla began training in classical ballet at the age of 12 under Jennifer Gordon at Northeast Atlanta Ballet, before moving to Houston at 16 and joining Houston Repetoire Ballet’s pre-professional track under Victoria Vittum and Barbara LeGault.  She then attended the University of Texas to receive her BFA in Dance Performance, before graduating and joining United Ballet Theatre as a trainee for their 21/22 season.

 

Kyla has had the pleasure to be a part of ballets such as The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Swan Lake, & Giselle, as well as contemporary works by Kristy Nilsson, Madison Hicks, Bridget Moore, and Kirven Douthit-Boyd. This will be her second season as a trainee, and she is excited to continue to perform and train with United Ballet Theatre.
