Andrew Wang
First Year Trainee

Andrew started dancing in 2012 at The Georgia Ballet where he discovered his interest in dance and love for ballet. Before joining UBT, he trained at Morningstar Dance Academy and graduated from Atlanta Professional Dance Academy in 2022. He has also been invited to Summer intensives held by The HARID Conservatory, the Bolshoi Ballet Academy, the Houston Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet, and Ballettschule Theater Basel.

 

Outside of training, he has competed at Helsinki International Ballet Competition and has been invited to YAGP finals for the past four years. He has performed contemporary works choreographed by Mimmo Miccolis, Chiaki Yasukawa, as well as classical solos and pas de deux from Le Corsaire, Satanella, Paquita, and Swan Lake.

When he isn't dancing, Andrew enjoys spending time with his cat and reading a good book.
